The Weight of Grief

This piece was the start of the swan series for me. I hesitate to share what it means to me as I always encourage my viewers to discover how each painting converses with their inner selves. However, the work was born from a grieving a significant broken relationship in my life. While you may yet live, the weight of that grief will hang on your neck.
